Fellow bloggers, welcome to my Dungeons & Dragons blog! My name is Lane Weinberg and I am probably the biggest Dungeons & Dragons fan. Are you thinking to yourself “what is Dungeons & Dragons”? Let me explain the amazing game:

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy role-playing game that was originally designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. It was first published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. Since 1997, it has been published by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons is derived from miniature wargames with a variation of the Chainmail game, which serves as the initial rule system. Dungeons & Dragons differs from traditional wargaming and assigns each player a specific character to play instead of a military formation. The characters embark upon various imaginary adventures within a fantasy setting. The Dungeons & Dragons game is widely regarded as the beginning of modern roleplaying games and the role-playing game industry.

This is an incredibly fun game, for all ages. You are all probably certain that I am a child, or maybe a teenager, but you are all wrong. I am a grown man who is not afraid to still bring out my younger side and enjoy myself. I have been playing this game from the year during which it was published and haven’t stopped since.
